Museum Night in Paris - Saturday 16 May 2015

When Museum Night is in the plural, cycling doesn't seem so singular!

On the night of 16 May, the four corners of the City of Light will come alive. From their galleries to their avenues, from their salons to their illuminated squares, the museums will show you the way through Paris.
How does it work? Get on your bike and admire the sights; get off your bike and visit the sights; get back on your bike and enjoy!

By way of example, here are our 2 tours:

Circuit 1:
In just one evening, take a trip from Nature with a capital N to our urban and creative heritage: compare, judge and enjoy.
Cross the lively Tino Rossi open-air museum-garden to the Natural History Museum, where our cousins the Great Apes present their life in the forest. A glance at the Galerie de l'Évolution will also tell you a lot.
Then, after a glass (of water!) with the troublemakers of the Latin Quarter and the illuminations along the banks of the Seine (cycle paths), move from the jungle to the hustle and bustle of the city at the Cite de l'Architecture, with Un bâtiment, combien de vies?

For a grand finale, on the dot, let yourself be charmed by the 20,000 winks of the Eiffel Tower.

Circuit 2:
If your legs are itching, take your bike outside the walls for a resolutely innovative ride.
From 1pm at the Mac Val d'Ivry discover fabulous transformations; at 5pm a gestural visit or at 6pm an »invented visit».
Then along the Maréchaux (cycle path), a relaxing break in the Parc Montsouris (closes at 9.30pm) is a must, before the brand-new and already renowned Fondation Louis Vuitton.
Finally, come back to your Parisian loves, to the recently reopened Musée Picasso. At 8pm and 8.45pm a choreographed stroll and from 9.30pm a projection-mapping will (re)unveil the Hôtel Salé and its distinguished guest.

So don't wait any longer, and make the most of cycling in the city!
